DropImages is a free online image compressor. It makes JPEG, PNG and WebP files as small as possible without visibly changing them, and can optionally resize them to a maximum width. Drop your images, then download them one by one or all together as a zip. No account and no limits. Nothing is added to your images: no watermarks, no metadata, nothing else.
Images are compressed in your browser and never uploaded to a server. Location and camera data are removed from the results.
Every image is tried at several quality levels. The smallest version that still looks like the original is kept. Photos saved at high quality often shrink by half or more.
A JPEG stays a JPEG, a PNG stays a PNG, a WebP stays a WebP. Transparency and colour profiles are kept, so files work as drop-in replacements.
Set a maximum width to scale large images down for the web. The aspect ratio is kept and smaller images are never enlarged.
